Pacific Coast Feather Company has a special washing method called Hyperclean® process. Hyperclean® materials have been washed up to eight times in cleaning agents developed exclusively for Pacific Coast Feather Company. The harsh chemicals traditionally used to clean down and feathers have been replaced by a highly effective but gentle cleaner that leaves the down and feather at a neutral pH. In addition, dust and dirt have been filtered out of the Hyperclean down and feathers during its processing. This results in down and feathers that are cleaner than the down and feathers found in other natural products, and actually allows Pacific Coast to use less fill than competitors to achieve the same effect. Pacific Coast Feather not only meets the government standards, they surpass them! Because Hyperclean down and feathers are cleaner, they are allergy free, fluffier, stronger and longer lasting that other brands.
