This mattress features a soft 1 inch latex toplayer atop a 1.5 inch convoluted latex layer on a firm soy-based foam core. A hypoallergenic, Natura Smart Wool-lined cotton blend tick cover helps regulate body temperature all night long. We offer the Natura organic foundation for purchase with this mattress.

The glue used in the Natura mattresses is GreenGuard certified, which means it has undergone testing for off-gassing and adheres to strict standards. Natura ensures that their entire cotton and wool source within North America adheres to the Organic Trade Association guidelines that protect the environment, farmers and the public. Natura uses only the finest virgin wool, processed under careful and stringent standards. Not only do we want to ensure our organic wool is completely free of chemicals and pesticides, but humanely harvested. Sheep shearing practices in many parts of the world are disturbing at best and we believe animal rights is an important part of the equation. Natura's natural Talalay latex is certified by Oeko-Tex, the recognized industry leader in textile certification. To be recognized by Oeko-Tex, a product must pose “no risk whatsoever to health.” The foams used in the Natura mattresses is partially made from soy bean oil to reduce the dependence on petro-chemical based manufacturing.
